L'ambiance est sombre, mais la lumière au dessus du bar met en valeur les plats japonais et fait ressortir leur couleur. Il semble que l'on peut sentir l'odeur des grillades. L'homme est peut-être un business man ou bien un mafieux, ou les deux, le spectateur se fera une idée de cet instant suspendu dans la nuit tokyoïte. Toile ayant fait l'objet d'une petit rajout de toile au dos (3cm x 5cm) pour réparer une petite dechirure de la toile de 2cm, en bas à gauche de la toile. Le résultat à l'avant de la toile n'est plus visible.

Figurative Portrait of a guy, in Tokyo, in an isakaya bar, 3: 00 am, eating a few yakitori while drinking a beer. The atmosphere is dark, but the light above the bar highlights Japanese dishes and brings out their color. It seems you can smell the barbecue. The man is perhaps a business man or a mafia man, or both, the spectator will get an idea of this moment suspended in the Tokyoite night. Canvas having been the subject of a small addition of canvas at the back (3cm x 5cm) to repair a small dishyping of the canvas of 2cm, at the bottom left of the canvas. The result at the front of the canvas is no longer visible.
